How to Get Started

Everyone starts as an End User in the app — then upgrades to the right plan.

    Download the epSpeak mobile app

    Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app works on phones and tablets — tablets are recommended for the best AAC experience.

    Create your account as an End User

    Open the app, tap Sign Up, and choose End User. You can start using the free starter categories immediately. All accounts begin as End Users by default.

    Why start as End User? Even caregivers and practitioners need an account tied to an end user. You'll upgrade your role in the next step.

    Sign into the web portal with the same email

    Visit enrichpoint.com/epspeak/login and sign in using the same email and password you used for the app.

    Choose your plan and subscribe

    Once signed in, you'll land on the Upgrade page. Pick Caregiver Family Plan or Practitioner Plan and complete checkout via Stripe.

    After payment your account is instantly upgraded. You'll be redirected to your portal (Caregiver Portal or Practitioner Portal) where you can start managing end users, classes, goals, and more.

    For caregivers: invite or create end users

    As a Caregiver, you can:

    • Create accounts for end users in your family (children, family members) directly from the portal
    • Invite other adult caregivers to join your family using a family code
    • Connect with practitioners using pairing codes so they can work with your end user

    For practitioners: add students to your roster

    As a Practitioner, you can:

    • Create classes to organize your students
    • Add students by email or by their pairing code / QR code (the student can show their code from Settings → My Pairing Code in the app)
    • Send category packages for students to install, pending caregiver approval
    • Set goals, take notes, and print reports for IEP meetings

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I switch between Caregiver and Practitioner plans?
Contact support to change plans — we'll help ensure your end users / students are migrated cleanly. Upgrading from End User to either plan is always self-serve.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your subscription features (advanced categories, analytics, alerts, goals) become read-only. End users keep unrestricted access to the free starter library. You can resubscribe anytime and pick up where you left off — nothing is deleted.
Is the app HIPAA compliant?
epSpeak uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit, strict access controls, and audit logging. Full HIPAA certification (with Business Associate Agreements in place) is planned but not yet available. If HIPAA compliance is required for your organization, please contact us.
Can multiple caregivers or practitioners share the same account?
No — each caregiver and practitioner should have their own account. This keeps audit trails clear and ensures notifications reach the right person. A Caregiver Family Plan supports up to 4 caregiver accounts; the Practitioner Plan is tied to one practitioner with unlimited students.
I signed up on the wrong plan. What now?
Email support@enrichpoint.com with your account email and the plan you need. We'll sort it out and prorate any difference.
Do end users need their own device?
Not necessarily. Many families share a tablet among multiple end users — each has their own account, and signing in swaps the vocabulary and settings. For individual use, a dedicated tablet is typically best.
