Terms of Service

epCaregiver Mobile Application

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the epCaregiver mobile application (the “App”) provided by EnrichPoint (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are an addendum to our site-wide Terms of Service, which cover the corporate relationship, account auth, dispute resolution, and other matters common to every EnrichPoint app. Where the two conflict on an epCaregiver-specific point, this document controls.

1. Who can use epCaregiver

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an epCaregiver account.
  • You are responsible for managing your household and for the data of the end users in your care, including children for whom you are the parent or legal guardian.
  • End users (including children) do not interact with epCaregiver directly. Their experience of the EnrichPoint family of apps happens in the per-product apps (epSpeak, epFidget, etc.) under the household you manage.

2. Your Account and Household

  • Caregivers must keep their account credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and within your household.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that any data you provide about an end user (display name, avatar, preferences) is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
  • Notify us immediately at support@enrichpoint.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or household.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for fraud, abuse, or attempts to exploit the App.

3. Free Service, Commerce Happens Elsewhere

epCaregiver itself is free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases inside the App. Any purchases for products in the EnrichPoint family (e.g. epSpeak subscriptions, epFidget add-on packs) happen in those individual apps or on the EnrichPoint website, governed by the terms of those products.

epCaregiver displays the resulting license and entitlement state across your household, but it does not process or initiate payments.

4. Pairing Codes

  • The App lets you generate short-lived pairing codes to link end-user devices to your household or to share with co-caregivers, practitioners, or other authorized parties.
  • Pairing codes expire automatically and are single-use unless otherwise noted in the App.
  • You are responsible for sharing pairing codes only with parties you trust. We are not liable for misuse of a pairing code you shared voluntarily.

5. License to Use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Modify the App or create derivative works from it.
  • Resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the App.
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, households, or end-user profiles.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or interact with the App at scale.
  • Interfere with the App's normal operation, including denial-of-service attempts or excessive load.
  • Create end-user profiles for individuals over whom you do not have legal authority or consent to manage.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the App available, but we make no guarantee of uninterrupted service. Some features (push notifications, cloud-synced household data, license-status reads) require an internet connection and depend on third-party infrastructure (Firebase). We are not liable for downtime caused by those providers.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EnrichPoint will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Because epCaregiver is free and processes no payments, monetary liability from it alone is inherently limited; our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is capped at USD $50.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account, visit /epcaregiver/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If you are the sole caregiver on a household, deleting your account affects the end-user profiles in that household — review the deletion page's notice carefully before confirming.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” above and announce material changes in the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after the new effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which EnrichPoint is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the manner described in the site-wide Terms of Service.
